Rampage and hoarding is rampant
Gasping for a lung of oxygen

Human lives are inconsequential
Bodies are piling one above another
Burial is for a selected few
Rest are discarded ruthlessly
Scare is the new buzzword
In a world of savage shackles
Every cloud has a silver lining
But the black clouds loom forever
Shadow of death surrounds every soul
Never has before death been this unbridled
Who will break the chain of despondency
That engulfs the entire country
Is there still hope
Is doomsday knocking on our doors
Waiting in trembling fear
